Digging a hole
Now that's what you call cheap labour (it only took her 2 days!)...excavation went smoothly and is complete. The foundation work will start in the next couple days. Soon we'll have a basement.
We're Liz and Paulo (an extremely intelligent creative couple) and have come to the decision that it was time to stop slumming it in our townhome and move on to a single home in the affluent neighbourhood of Blossom Park. After finding the lot and Paulo being an architectural technologist/soon to be architect (and thanks to a temporary loss in sanity in thinking it would be a breeze to build our own home), here was our opportunity. Being of Italian and Portuguese backgrounds there of course will be no shortage of drama (and obviously no construction background in our blood whatsoever). Our adorable daughter Zara is going along for the ride and at this point is incredibly confused why we continue to go stare at a chunk of grass and proceed to tell her this is where we're going to live.
